great tone, great concept.. i usually hate these gloomy dark styled photographic works (i mean the natural dark dark lighting type..).. cause i get a sense of illegibility but this works for me.. yay =]
Not only a wonderfully fantastic concept but the follow through is gorgeous. I love how the colours are just right to fully capture the sad mood of the girl.
On my screen it comes up a tad dark, but that may be intentional to suit the mood of the piece?
i really like this, a very striking image.

jfelix Thanks for all the comments. Fantasio, you are definitely right about the tone. Up until the unification of the tone, the image was not working properly.
This is really beautiful. The colour tone is perfect. I would have one criticism though, on closer inspection of the full view image, it looks like your blending of the images could be better. It looks a little too awkwardly cut and paste for my liking. Otherwise it's great

jfelix I hear you about the edges... but on purpose I left them like that. I have one version that is totally cleaned, but it lacked it's edgy feel. Hard to explain.
