I love this! And I hate to say but I don't know why...I think maybe it's not the kind of thing that I would usually like....but this is brilliant! The shapes and form and shading are beautiful. It makes me think a little of a modern, or perhaps even futuristic day labyrinth...or like a little city hidden underneath some concrete and grass. Wonderful work!

analog77 thanks for that comment, carly! it's appreciated because if you usually don't like such stuff it's even more valuable for me that you like this one....
i'm not sure what it is eventually - just that much: i spend some time in Warsaw this year and i did a little research about all the historic stuff that took place in WW2 and afterwards. and i visited this places and i felt not very comfortable being there as a german. and these drawing came out of a series of sketches i did there and it deals a bit with disappeared and forgotten people and places and graves and all that .... so your interpretations are quite right.
Fantastic work, I love your focus on architecture. I'd love to hear why you have this focus. I love architectural drawings myself and similar things. I always love seeing such form with linear language. And it's really interesting how the forms shift with the different mediums you use. Each has its own style in a way. I'm rambling about nothing, anyway, fantastic work :)
