this piece was a real experiment for me;-) ...the image was roughly done as a photomanip, then tiled prints were cut, and pasted on illustration-board as a paper collage, drawn with ink and coloured pencil partially, and with acrylics around the head, then scanned into photoshop again, to change colortonevalues and desaturate finally...

i love the part around her neck and shoulder, and the warming shadow is a really nice touch. these kind of experiments are so fun, and you learn so much in the process. this is really lovely, fant :]

fantasio thank you hun,
its indeed a lot of fun-
in times a bit frustrating, but keeping the head up leads always to a positive achievment.
Wow, this is beautiful. I love the whole experimentation part to this. Its exactly what art is all about. As long as we are never afraid to try new things then we will always be artists! Lovely.

fantasio thank you Keith, very appreciated.
at the moment its annoying to me doing two works in the same technique(traditional ones)
the digital and illustrational work is mostly based on a routine scheme, which is often different in compositions and tryings, but traditional working requires a lot more patience and is a therefore time consuming proces.
i love to break with the learned schemata and trying out new things is something that gives life to a traditional piece of work..
