Oh crap. I was going to say...snowing on new years day, are you crazy?! Then I remembered I am in the northern hemisphere and all. New years day this year I was experiencing 45°C weather :)

carly That's Australia! And no it's not a cool thing! It was horrible because we didn't have air-conditioning and this is way too extreme temperature to be outside in it! Now I'm in London and hoping for snow this year :]
