I know the sky in this painting was inspired by one of my favorite artists, Mark Ryden's paintings. The hill in the background is one near my home. I have painted it several times.
Its so wonderful as a painter to be able to combine so many different elements from your own mind and real life if you so choose. This is just beautiful. Its simple in concept but the execution is flawless!
