Fantastic detailing and intricate line work. Reminds me exactly of old lithographic prints that I used to see. Is this direct gouache or are you using a block print too?

pac i wish my block prints could be this detailed :) it's all freehanded black gouache. for a while, a lot of this type of work i did was in gouache because i liked the consistency of the paint verses ink. and it looked super being very matte and opaque. unfortunately, it meant that i couldn't go back into it with watercolor or what have you if i so chose to do so.

keith It really has that block print feel too. Absolutely superb. Hey you could always go digital with some colours and see what happens but I love this as it is.
This is fantastic. I really admire people who can create this kind of thing, lots of different elements into one huge creative jungle! Really well done, I can imagine would look amazing in gouache too.
