Each of our bodies, like little miniature galaxies on a constant collision course. We can either merge harmoniously with as little (or no) damage as possible, or one of us might get eaten whole.. Exhibition Femme Fatale II

Hii! I am finally here after few days of non commenting.

Oh how I love this! The bottom figure especially, the linework is really great. I would have liked to see the top in vector also...or maybe this is something to do with your "merger" idea? Linework at the top could do with some cleaning up and smoothing out so they flow more freely...but well..it's beautiful :)

Seems I missed out on a whole duality period in your work Mere. I really love these and think it looks fantastic on a t-shirt!

No. no miss out, still kind of exploring it actually. I am kind of indifferent about this piece. I love it and dislike it.. It seems that my intention for creating it didn't do full justice to the concept. And I find most people who think less on the visual creative side just see it as two women in some sexually explicit or suggestive position and its not really like that at all for me. Its more of a motion and positioning if two were to be kind of floating in zero gravitation. But oh well.. it is what it is. Maybe i can think deep enough to correct that and re-release. Though, i do think flaws in what we do make us human. We shall see. Thanks for your thoughts Keith, always appreciated!

The thought of a sexually suggestive position didn't even enter my mind when I saw this. You shouldn't have to correct yourself for the mistakes of a narrow minded society which monkey see, monkey do!

You are right in that sense, though it is a bit of a let down to see so much of the narrow mindedness. I am not sure why it still lets me down after all these years but it does. The coffee shop i have my work displayed in asked that i not include that one, that it looked "Provocative" and that it is a "family" type place, which was fine i just used a different piece but.. i have had a few other comments to the same effect. I just suppose its too good for a dinky little coffee shop anyway ;b lol. People just aren't ready for me ;]

An artist shouldn't have to change their work for anyone. Just omit this piece from there but let it live on as is. I would hate to see it changed! Its up to you entirely of course.

If i did create this concept again it would be an entirely different piece, i have a hard time going back and changing old pieces, its like trying to re-write history or something. It just feels wrong.
