Went to the Doctors this week. Was told that I have a 100% chance of a heart attack unless I go on medication for it. Was a nice wake up call.
More of experimental style, but I'm seeing more of my old style redefined in this new style. First time using a body shot of myself in a piece of work.

devian My cholesterol has been high for a while, it was until they took my blood pressure as of recent, the combination is "deadly" from what they told me. Combined with the fact, I have both the cholesterol and blood pressure of a 400 pd 50 year old, when I'm only 185pds and 23.
wow. that's insane. be careful to believe what doctors say...they don't always have your best interests. sounds like it might be worth researching or getting second opinion.

devian I was lucky to get one of those good doctors who actually care about my health, rather than money. She's actually taken me off a couple medicines wondering why the hell a doctor prescribed me it in the first place.

carly I've actually been thinking a lot about these sorts of things in the last few months and how they relate to our emotions. There is some belief that our bodies suffer hugely through emotional stress; heart attacks in particular - this stress signals to your body to get ready for a "battle". While doing this, your coronary artery is made larger to allow for greater blood flow which can lead to a rise in cholesterol, which occurs to try and fix the problems in your coronary artery. And that's when heart attack's can occur...

Personally I'm a big believer in your emotions greatly effecting your physical wellbeing. I'm not trying to assume anything of you...I don't think anyone could be 100% emotionally stable! Just thought you might be interested :)

devian My health is one thing. Emotionally stable... now that's a WHOLE different story :P
devian Hehe, they had me on that for a while, but like Nexium, it start reaching new "records" for price per pill, and my insurance company didn't like it. On Simvastin now.
