viron20 Yay, thanks! :D
Yes, it's quite dimmu borger-ish (or I'll better say Luetke-ish?). You know what? The pair of metal circles under the cross are actually an edited image of my ashtray, and I only noticed later it's reminiscent of the mechanism that is on the DB cover.
It looks really bad ass man! I love the fact that you took the time to create individual elements for the symmetric sides instead of just making one and flipping it.
BTW - where did you get the tubing? Did you shoot it, or is it stock? Cuz it looks really cool.

viron20 Thanks, man.
Actually there are some background elements that are flipped, but they're hard to spot because they're covered by other things ;)
The tubing is mine, it's scrap material that some construction workers left in my house some time ago after some works of maintenance and luckily no one threw in the garbage! As soon as I spotted them in my garage I knew they were pure gold to me, heh! :D

binaryvision Yeah, I can see that some of the elements are flipped, bu you took the time to vary texture and lighting and all of that so the piece looks much more "believable".
I love when stuff like that falls into your lap. I have tons of crap that I find laying around and it clutters my closet but I always find some use for it in my artwork.

viron20 That's absolutely right, man! You can often make interesting things with the stuff around you.

viron20 Heh :D
Yes I take my own photos and then rearrange them. The background on this is really simple, it consists just of two things (obviously slightly modified and rearranged): a shot of a bunch of girders taken from the front and the engine of my utility car shot from above. Nothing else :)
