Neat start! Textures work well; colours too. The composition itself is quite mundane imo, but hey - its a first attempt, I respect that. : )
I find the text in the corner a little weird, but on the contrary I'm by no means a typo expert. Well done either way - keep it up.
This is great. Nice smooth lines in your pentool work. My only criticism is the type in the corner. It does feel tiny and awkward, and also with where you chose to place a line return is a little boring and unimaginative. You could experiment with the type in different positions and the lines or words in different point sizes from each other. Maybe even use the red shapes as a type mask. Great first attempt though :)
For a first attempt, this is really good. All the elements work together so well. Agree with Carly 100% on her points re: the text being slightly too small, perhaps it would be good to make the text more involved with the overall piece rather than just hidden away in the composition. Great work tho!
For a first attempt, this is fantastic. The flow of it is amazing. The text, as stated above, is a bit too small to ready. My only other suggestion would be to add a little white in the birds eye adding some contrast there. Other than that, extremely impressive for a first attempt.
