Taken from Wikipedia... Trichome, from the Greek meaning "growth of hair", are fine outgrowths or appendages on plants and certain protists. Examples are hairs, glandular hairs, scales, and papillae. This is a mixed media, personal expression, i worked on for about a week on and off. Open to your own interpretation, really.

Wow! The image introduce me into a new dimension of your work. The mix and the composition of the diferent elements into the image, generate alternative perspectives, some pices of faces and the graphics give the piece a disturbing magnetism and hinted darkness, which I really like it, really! Hard work and a very nice image!!

meredith Thank you so much for your kind words & thoughts! I did put a lot of time and calculation into this piece, some moments, i just sat with it open staring at it. Thinking. The different perspectives and dark worlds you pointed out, i focused a lot on that. Thank you for the compliments, it really means a huge amount to me that i was able to come through to you on this peice.
why don't they leave us do that at work , they always tell us " fade it , it seems fake " de 7aga zft wallahy :)

meredith i think really it depends on what you are going for.
i am more interested in "blending" as opposed to "fading" and i prefer crisp looking so i try to to be really precise when blending. but i have to stop at some point or i will just keep going with something forever until i've ruined it.
sometimes u ask someone " what is ur favorite colour " but u i feel it's so fool to ask this question as i pink isn't just a favorite colour for u , am i right ?:)

meredith lol... yes pink and i.. we go way back ;]
This is real beauty. Your colour placement in little spots is perfect. Like your description suggests, it really does feel like each little element could keep growing and morphing and changing and moving until never end...I can see this in a beautiful flash animation.
While I love your border and soft background colour, my only criticism is the elements on the left and right (pink line and black leaf) are too close to the pink border. It makes me anxious in design, like being strangled. Should either move further away or cut more into.
I know you don't like people saying their favourite parts too, but I just adore the three little green leaf shapes in the bottom :]

meredith Awws.. those little leaf shapes were so random but i love them too. they are my little random necessities :] i too could see this in motion, actually in my mind it is in motion.. i love your thoughts, thanks so much for sharing them with me.
devian Yes, it's evolving with each piece, with more of well, you in each one. Each are getting more complex, more unique, more defined, and more beautiful. It's actually really nice watching your work blossom more and more.
