The piece itself is hodge podge of various creative techniques, some old to me, some new. The head of the male character was modelled in zbrush, while the rest is comprised of some photomanipulation and alot of painting. This is an idea that I've had in my head for along time now, and overall I'm pleased

Interesting bits about the composition - it all comes together seamlessly with an amazing [and DISTURBING] result. It's as though she's beckoning to you to save her, and he's daring you to try. Impressive work.
