This is a little eerie and looks like it could have been taken a 100 years ago. I would like to see someone posed in this shot, not in the traditional sense, but as an extension of the mysterious serenity. Refer to artists like photographer Gregory Crewdson for an idea of what I am talking about.

eeritrocite thanks for your suggestion :) you are probably right about the human factor, yet i don't like ppl in my photos that much. i prefer sort of "empty" sceneries. it reveals what's on my mind: nothing :P
Whiskerz got it bang on. I keep thinking I am going to see Jack the Ripper pop up for some reason. No offence to your home town. It looks so like those images you have in your head of Victorian London. You set the mood so well.

eeritrocite thanks a lot :) and it's really funny... a lot of people on different websites were expecting jack the ripper coming out of this pic :P while that wouldn't ever come to my mind. but it's nice to hear somehow... :)
I would actually disagree...what gives it away is the modern cars in the bridge. To be honest this kind of throws me off the rest of the image and it's processing. I do like the processing, though I think could have some more thought in the tiny detail. Have you ever done pinhole photography or used a super8 cam?

eeritrocite yes, you're right. i was even thinking of clonning them out, but then it would probably be too much of an ingerention.
answering your question, no i've never used super8 cam. never tried pinhole either.
