haha thats really cool made me smile, i love the old feel or is it more stormy feel.
would have been cool if you had put some water splashes infront of the twigs in the lower right corner, to give it some more debts. other than that really nice.

viron20 Both old and stormy feeling, you decide which one you prefer...
Didn't thought of putting some more water splashes, damn! :P
ya the eagle wouldnt sit on something that moves! :) the quality of the piece is nuts, so crisp. its like you were standing on a rock and took a photo of this happening.

viron20 Ha! I would have had to be completely nuts to go on those breakwaters given the rough sea of that day! I was Indiana Jones enough just to get down the wharf and climbing on some of those rocks to take pics :D
its quite a powerful work considering alot of powerful artworks include figures and portraits. i actually feel for that peice of living wood! heh.. awesome work..and a stunning example of a good quality digital work.
It's kind of quirky interpretation that's for sure. The whole idea behind the log and the eagle is kind of endearing, if not sad. Some splashes in the front would have been good, I agree. Great though, I feel for him!

viron20 Yeah, in the end I decided to let some ground to be seen but I agree about putting some splashes even in the front, unfortunately I couldn't find any suitable photos.
Thanks carly, I appreciated your comment :)
