Unsure as to what this means specifically. Could be several things. This piece is its own monster. It kind of spins out of me onto the page. This was inspired by a doodle I did in the margin of some lined paper, while sitting in class. Something small and sort of insignificant. Well, it became a beast and jumped right onto a bigger page, more developed and bit more meaningful. I love artful accidents...

Don't we all love those! Very surreal indeed - I am utterly pleased with the result!

pandemonium Thanks! All these black & white's are going to be in color ASAP. I am trying to finsih up one more concept, then I am going to put them into sketchbooks with the finished works. So check back soon, buddy!
A big inspiration of mine (Senecal) recently said that he was trying to create more from the subconscious and let the meaning unfold on it's own once the piece is done.
I think all artists have a drive to create and that impulse is based on many things, all of which become factors in the theme, composition, etc. of everything we make.
The important thing is that you've created this beauty and the rest is all sort of useless, isn't it?
