I thought about this today when looking through some photographs taken in an abandoned home. This one in particular of the fireplace. I thought about the family that once occupied these walls and enjoyed the warmth of a fire on a Christmas morning in this very room, now left abandoned and cold. I thought about where that family might be now and what stories they could share with me about their home.
