Final version of "The Blue Portrait"
Arcyl on collage (on white paper), mixed media (inc. grain, glue, hairspray, filament), size: ~ 60 x 60 cm

(Information: it's important to have a look at this photograph of the painting (scanning is not possible due to its size) on a well-calibrated monitor. The background is dark blue, slightly turning into black (the structure is still visible though.)

Very intriguing and mysterious piece. It makes me want to peel off the paint and find out what that person is all about. Can't help but dive into this piece, which makes it a great one.
