its a combination of photography & photo manipulation using color variance, balance, & replacement with the selector tool, clone tool also, the pen tool but no painting was done. thank you keith :]
I like simple portraits like that one.
I thought you painted it somehow as well.

meredith i realize i should have mentioned in the description, i am not good at those . I painted me before the portrait. which has such cool and interesting after effects once pulled into photoshop. it can be obsessively addicting though so i try to keep it under control. thanks for the response :]
