This was slight departure to my more usual work. It all started with an idea to do something in the vein of Chinese Watercolors. I was making some thumbnails and did something akin to this piece. It was sitting in my sketchbook for a few months and decided that I wanted to do some vector work with it. So what started out as something simple ended up being about countless hours in illustrator and then a few more hours in photoshop adding a few "stylings". I don't know if I'll do more like this, but if the idea strikes me again I will. Plus I learned a lot about Illustrator.
