to be honest after looking through your work.. when you see it in the thumbnails it doesn't look that impressive... when you zoom in you can see the finer detail and it looks awesome.

so my suggestion is not really to change your work but be careful with the spacing.. the large black space on the sides is a bit extreme.. i would for example make this work square and fix a nice space around it that allow you to see the work in detail
