This was client work that I was asked to provide digital paints for. They ended up using someone else's colors in the end and it looked like garbage. But anyway here is what I did.
The original pencils for this piece was done by artist Brett Booth.
Painted in Adobe Photoshop CS3 w Wacom Graphire 4 tablet.

also.. another note, i like you left the lips very minimal and used the painting to touch it up.. i know its a small thing but I seen allot of people put to much detail on faces and it can look odd.
Only some of them.. Well the bigger clients. This one was for Marvel, but I guess the true story behind it is that they never released it, so I've been told today. So it's just an unused piece of art.
i think the color is fitting well to the drawing,
and i guess i know what you are talking about, working indirectly for blizzard did end up in the same scenario, thats why i didnīt care about the money or size of the brand of a client anymore.
