i know in viewing and perceiving art every perspective is different. and for personal reasons this piece is a revolutionary concept to me because i remember it being something you showed me when i first joined The Raster Group. It literally does symbolize that small ray of hope and warmth representing anything encouraging and positive, in a life of dark desperation. I too like the colour change on this. :]
I really like the concept and colour palette of/in the piece but there are a couple of things that I think could use some attention:
1. The dove
- Try to use the motion/radial blurs to simulate the wing motion, Right now, it seems like the dove has four wings, two of which seem really unnatural.
- In the same area, the small balls of light bother me. I think if you randomized their location/size/opacity a bit more you would get a much more realistic look going.
2. The composition
- It seems you're using a lot of space that tells no story and the focal point (the head/dove) are crammed in a corner and really fight for space...
- I would either bring the whole thing to the left and down to give the dove more room OR increase the canvas size and re-adjust the positioning and spacing of the elements in the focal area.
Hope that helps :)

keith Thank you so much for such an excellent comment. Couldn't agree more. This was somewhat an older piece for me and my work has since changed quite a lot. I shall have to revisit this some day I think.
