IE 5 doesn't seem to like the site for some reason. Not too big of a deal, just thought I should say something. :)

Doesn't like it means it closes IE as soon as it loads.

i mentioned profile loading/ navigation problems with IE 5.5 on another thread...
i used IE only when forced to it, because FF wonīt let me start threads in the forums...
and i donīt update to a newer IE version, because.. its M$!

What so now sites have to be designed to accommodate any browser that EVER existed?
Fant that is really strange that FF won't let you start threads. Do you have the latest version?

@ fantasio: Updating Internet Explorer doesn't cost money...
@ carly: Sadly some people still run with it. I know it's not a big deal, but it might sort out other problems. In looking at it, it gave me no information on the crash so I even doubt the chance of figuring out a way to fix it. Although, it did occur as the flash element on the top of the front page was loading.

And for the record so I don't feel guilty, there's an output error on comments. Don't know if I missed it, but it puts back and forward slashes around quotations. :S

in IE there is a broken banner link for the current featured artist and in FF it is just a text link. other than that the page flows smooth.
and that back slash before quotations happens in both of those browsers.
James, though i know you need it for testing purposes, i think it would be best if you put down the IE. Just WALK AWAY! ;b

As Luis has mentioned previously, once everything is finalised in FF it can then be cleared in IE. We've also just moved to a new server so some things may be acting a little different.
I did notice the back/forward slashes after apostrophes. I have a feeling this may be due to Martin fixing a previous error that was making little diamond question mark boxes appear. Previously to that, apostrophes were messing up comment edits!
I understand some people may be using older browser versions...but there is no reason why they cannot upgrade. It is free of course so for me it doesn't make sense to waste the time at fixing possible bugs. JUST UPGRADE!

We have been having some little teething problems with formatting and slashes but fear not we shall resolve them and resume a normal service as soon as possible!
Keep reporting those bugs. The more you see, the more you help us.

Usually the question mark diamonds are because you're not using the right DOCTYPE to use a specific character.
I use FF... IE5 is my connection from school and I wish I could get to it from there since I get bored easily.
