meredith

keith is looking into max file size for artwork/scratchpad uploads. we know 2.3m is too big.

Also, (this happened to me twice) when artwork file submits, upload completion notification thumbnail link directs to a page that says "this scratchpad no longer exists" - though the file does actually submit to your gallery, dont know about that but i thought i'd pass it along :]

Thanks for your help martin!!

now when i upload it hangs, and then a big red bar comes across the top and says "you must upload an artwork"

i checked the filename and no weird charaters ( i renamed it)...

It is; something's been messed up with the date functions on-site. I'm struggling the best I can to fix it.

the scratchpad link issue is fixed!

and 2.3 megs is a bit too big ! what r u doing uploading a file that large?..heh

for some reason uploading using safari is not working for me, firefox does work though.

That does not surprise me -- Safari and AJAX require a bit of extra tweaking to get working when compared to the other browsers. Can you provide more info on what is not working -- at what point does it fail -- any errors shown?

hey, yeah, sure...

what is happening is after clicking the "upload artwork" bot it immediately just takes me to the same screen just without any image selected on the "browse" space and a message appears on the top right beneath the menu saying that i need to select an image to upload.

I think what it is basically doing is not detecting that i have browsed for an image.

Dunno if this helps. Let me know if you need me to expand.

Not resolved. When I try to upload an artwork, I get an error telling me I need to upload an artwork when I already did. Guess I'll try Firefox.

Hi heavywinter, firstly, welcome to cs!

Please note that we are still in beta testing of the site so you may (as you have noticed), come across some bugs here and there. We need all users, as you are doing, to let us know of these so they can be fixed.

Please also make sure you let us know which browser and version you are using and if possible cross test it to see if the same errors occur.

Although we need to know any problems with IE, we'd recommend using the latest version of Firefox as at this stage it is providing the best usability.

I see you have now successfully added artwork to your gallery, please advise if you were able to upload these in FF without any hassle.

Thank you again for the feedback, without this information we cannot grow! :)
