So I've started to get interested in graphic/print design and typography, but since I don't study these subjects at school and don't afford the literature at the time, I was thinking about creating a few school-like assignments (such as cd-covers for specifik music types, brochures etc).
Is anyone else interested in this? I was thinking we could create one assignment every one or two weeks, after which everyone uploads and discusses, as well as post eventual good resources for the specifik task.
I would sure learn a lot from this anyway, hopfully everyone'll have fun with it as well. Who's game? :D

I'd like to take part in this, but school's got me booked for time, maybe I'll just upload my school work once I'm done some of the projects.

Yo I got an idea for an assignment for ya. It was one of my term projects for my typography class.
We had to create letters that were inspired by "natural" substances around us.
We only had to create four letters at most and I based my letters on elements and compunds.
For example, I made a "V" out of the chemical structure H2O water
And an "X" with CH4, methane.
The project was cool and all, but the creep result was that a month after the project everyone in the program was able to see letters in almost everything, like tree bark and branches, and in architecture.
It was strange for a while, but definitely a fun project. I suggest you try it out.
