I was just curious if any of you have ever had mentors? If so, how did they become your mentor? Did it help?

Like mention above... I don't have mentors but did infact requested critique and some help from my friends.

My professors never were to that level of being mentors sadly said the majority of professors I've had weren't as creative as most of are. They are stuck in the "old times art" while we progress to the modern age. This is just from personal experience of course. Maybe you guys have different story :)
