I was pondering today during a bowl of porridge, whether or not it would be cool to write a tutorial or two on certain ways I accomplish certain effects. Every artist has their own "special" tone or contrast or style, so why not help others or maybe let them in on a little bit of your work flow and development process?
Would anyone be interested in such a thing? I saw this over at damngine's forum, a few threads on how he did certain things and I thought it was rather interesting. I'd be more than willing to start it off if anyone will follow suit.
Please let me know. :)

I say go for it. IMO, it can't hurt. :)

I'd love to make a few breakdowns but time is not on my side atm. I think steps like that should be kinda global and more like an inspiration that you can build anything you want as long as you're inventive, it shouldn't be like some of those Computer Arts tutorials which say "and now you put this layer on overlay on 70% and add a color balance adjustment layer with r+50 g+20 b-40 and voila you have 'dark art'". Everyone has his or her own style/tones/colors etc. and other people should find their own instead of simply copying them. But the idea of breakdowns is still a good one methinks.

I think it's an awesmoe idea. It's great to see how other artists works and learn from that. Don't know if i have time to make breakdowns right now but it would be awesome to see how other shreds their pixels.
