It used to be there...it was taken away and is being worked on! We were experiencing a few bugs so need to iron those out first before it's up and working smoothly again.
But for now...FF has an inbuilt spell checker...do you use it?! :)

I don't think it should be reinstated. Reason being for banning purposes and this is why deviantART does it. If you write something, read it over. It's too easy for someone to go back and change their arguments and be idiots and shit. That, or make something that was ban worthy not, and then no evidence is there.
If this was to be done, it should be done like Digg where you are given a time period to edit it, like a minute or two.
And for the record, Opera is FireFox. :)

A limited edit period would be fine.

James; how exactly do you come to the statement that Opera is Firefox?
Raphael; opera has it's own spell checker i believe, though i'm not sure whether or not it's dynamic like ff. We will get this resolved though :)

Opera can use the Gecko rendering engine that Firefox uses but it can use other rendering engines as well as it's own. So Opera is not really firefox but more of a Gecko Type Browser of sorts.

carly: The only difference between the two to me is their default skins. Thats just me, and I thought I heard Opera was based on FireFox but is even lighter.
