ability to reply comments

Wondering if this will be implemented. If someone puts a question about a piece how could you answer? messagem him or add a comment after his question that the person probably wont read cause he will not come back just to check if the author made a reply.

A notifications feature will be implemented so that users can track comments they have made easily without searching back through artworks to see what they may have been awaiting a reply on.

Its one of many features that we are hoping to implement on the site once we get done with bug testing etc

It would be REALLY nice if we could preview our posted comments/replys OR give us the option to edit them once posted...

I messed up recently and noticed there wasn't much I could do about it :(

I believe if you have your notifications on e-mails, it gives you a link to the replied comment... Still would be nice to be implemented as mentioned.

It would also be nice if we could get some type of notifications of replies to our comments on other people's work/profiles.

Also,

The comments notification thing - we should have a way to mark the comments as "read" instead of having the number just go up and up. It's fine now because of the small number of members, but eventually, when the community grows, it will be hard to keep track of what you've read/answered .

All of these features mentioned are already in place so I am unsure what we are discussing here?

Comment replies are still being coded into the notification feature of the site, but are currently viewable if you have your email alerts on. Like all other comments currently here, they too will have check boxes so you can mark as read.
