Hey all. My current hoster is going off at the end of the year which is a bit of a bitch for me right now because he was doing a lot of stuff for me especially paying for my domain name with his credit card. I'm looking for something really cheap but has what I need. A lot of people swear to certain places, but they all have different deals, etc. I need a place mainly that will take PayPal.
Right now, my hosting has the following which does pretty well what I want. It costs me about $5/month and I get $15/year for a domain name from domainsatcost.ca (this is a .com/.org).
500MB Storage
20GB Data Transfer
20 E-Mail Addresses
Spam & Virus Protection
Control Panel
Up to 2 Domains
Up to 2 MySQL Databases
99.99% Uptime Guarantee
Here's what DreamHost is offering me. The only downfall is it's for 10 years... then again I think that's what I need. But then again they ask me like $700 up front. If I paid monthly then I'd be paying like $11/month.

I need more or less the same thing in terms of space. I love the amount of e-mails I get but it's not too important (I figure I need at least 5). I like the amount of domain names (I don't want any less), but if I could get something like 3 that would be amazing. I especially need 2-4 MySQL databases. The more the merrier.
Right now I'm looking at a bunch of places a few friends suggested, but I need to be 100% sure that the one I'm going into now won't fuck me over down the road. It sucks I can't find a hoster right now that
you
choose what you want in your hosting plan. Would be so much easier.

I use jaguarpc.com with no complaints. They allow you to use multiple domains across your hosting resources so that is not a problem and I believe the databases are unlimited.

@ aesop: But don't you have to pay for like 10 years up front to get more or less the same thing I'm getting from my current hoster for less? :S

one.com is sexually pleasing. I think I might just go with it... thanks Martin. :)

Hah, happy wanking, err I mean hosting then, James! Yeah I have my own site there actually; unless you need REALLY, REALLY ADVANCED scripts (such as your custom made CGIs or so) - you'll love it.
