anti-heros!!!

I was recently browsing through Forbiden Planet and realized that I hate most of the superhero shit that fills the shelves.There is so much more interesting people in the real world.Who is your favorite anti-hero and why?????????????????????????????????????????

From wikipedia :

In fiction, an anti-hero is a protagonist who is lacking the traditional heroic attributes and qualities, and instead possesses character traits that are antithetical to heroism. Typically, the anti-hero acts heroically, in scale and daring, but by methods, manners, and intentions both fair and foul, even underhanded and deceitful.

A villain is outright cast as bad or evil.

The issue is more complex because an hero could well be a Villain/anti-hero in disguise depending on your objective perception of his/her actions and vice versa.

It's tricky because an anti-hero could make you accept morality issues that would not be accepted otherwise, just because it "looks" like it's an heroic deed osit.

I mean, who is a hero today anyway ??

Would you consider Jack Bauer (from 24) to be an anti-hero in your opinion ?
