Help. I need advice on a good place to host my domain.

I need to purchase asap so i don't have too much downtime.

I need cheap - and really only about 100MB..

From those with experience with good hosting sites... Any thoughts, advice, links ... suggestions... links... ideas... links.

I am planning on getting my own server in the coming months... but until then... i need space and i need it as cheap as possible.

I recommend media temple, they are awesome... not that cheap and more than 100mb though.

Maybe you could pay someone to host your domain for a couple of months on their hosting plan?

You've probably already chosen but I use Four9.ca. They're Canadian owned, and give you a lot for real cheap. Of course, hosting all depends on what you need.

Sometimes I wish someone made a custom hoster where the client chooses his/her own plan...

Make sure you read the terms of service on One.com. In order to stop hosting with them you need to snailmail them your signature and such bullshit one month in advance of cancelling your hosting plan.
They might have changed that, but last september I had to pay for another year I didn't want because I said no too late.

I use dreamhost. Loads of space, loads of bandwith, quite cheap, *bad downtime*.

www.routhost.com is my host. They have more space than you may need or want, but their plans are very affordable; and I've been very happy with them.

A great Australian host if anyone wants to know is http://www.jumba.com.au I'm with them and there really good.

Also isn't Media Temple like really really expensive i cant even find there price list.
If anyone can just forward that on to me that would be great :D

I've been using A Small Orange for all my sites and my client sites for a few years now. I haven't had any real problems with them at all. Double plus good.
