Well, let me introduce something about my alter ego: "the fantastic filou".
In 1993-1996 i started my career while doing an apprenticeship to become a painter, with success. Later on, I decided to give myself an artistic education, that should help me to find a direction. Luckily i found myself to be able affording a private Artschool like the Ibkk in Bochum Germany, which helped me to keep my ideas and visions and project them into goals. In 2007 i finally graduated with a diploma work in Airbrush-design.
Even if i do not use to work with the Airbrush anymore often, it taught me a lot about art in general. Besides study i have learned anything about CG-art, Photoshop and 3d- design, even mixed with traditional media.
The main subjects of my Art consists of fascination, the fascinating and often bizarre beauty of mankind, and especially the female . The open minded, that expect old fashioned "fantasy" should dive deeper into my work, to find out that there is far more between elves and dwarfs. I was always intrigued by mythology of every kind, my work reflect lots of riddles and myths, thats why i like to illustrate.
At the moment, i am pursuing representation in national or international galleries and in the illustration and fine-art sector. Inquires are welcomed.
The virtuality, to bring together art and design in a harmonical unison, is one of my main-concerns. Fantasio Fine Arts is more synonymical for an emerging young artists company, networking and collaborating with a wide range of creatives and agencies from all around the globe. Also focussing on the area of Illustration, Fashion and Photo-design.
Yes, you are right, I think this community is worth putting time into also. I just need to get back into drawing again, like I used to do. DA got me down with all the drama. I've been working on a few pieces lately. I thought I'd get them done in time for Raster, but then I had to work. Lately I've been using a tablet to draw with. I like it a lot.
Love your new pieces. They are very well done. And, most of all I like the colours that you choose for them. Your pieces have always been very imaginative and smooth. They are awesome.
Sooo.. yeah your couch in "Use your imagination" is in my living room, Only its an extra large 1 seater instead of a two seater & thats about how we looks if two people try to sit in it!
