due to the "the love of solitude and silence" sketchbook entry i remember a few words from Francis Bacon:"whosoever is delighted with solitude is either a wild beast or a god"

heavycoat The words were inspired by a old book called "The imitation of christ" I love that book so many images come to mind when I read over it.
Fantastic use of the 'sketchbook' ...good to see! I was thinking about doing a piece following it in the sketchbook but I doubt it will span very well...still really interesting to see one of your works being made!

heavycoat thanks keith, I hope to update it twice more and then the finished piece ,a few pieces to scan in and put it all together :) and to shade that sucker like a oak tree :D
