I am an abstract artist based in South East London and produce work both in oils and pastels. My art focuses very strongly on the vibrant, expressive use of colour and consists of representative imagery ranging from abstract to figurative. I am particularly concerned with the visual interpretation of sound and as a keen listener of a wide variety of music I am influenced by many pieces which evoke specific shapes and colours in my mind. I therefore use my own emotional responses to music as a source of inspiration for the colour and spontaneous line flow which is a major feature throughout my work.
You know I love classical music and opera too! I never really incorporated my art with it though but looking at your sketchbook you have done it. Love it.

Thanks so much for the comment & taking a look at my gallery. Yeah pink is very intense, and i love expressing myself with it. I have been looking through your gallery as i can and i really do enjoy your pastels. I love to work with conte crayons which are similar, but i love the flow and lines of your work, its just lovely.
