Let me first introduce myself, my real name is Patrick and I'm a digital artist based in Amsterdam, Holland. I produce/make my art under the name Ultradialectics which i have been doing for a couple of years now. I think my first interest in art started at my uncle's birthdayparties, where I could look into books of Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazzeta. And from that point on it all started I guess. Began reading a lot of comics
and watched a lot of horror/fantasy/sci-fi movies, and that's where I got most of my inspiration from. And I still do today.
When I began making digital art I first worked under the name Ultra, but since that's a pretty common word I decided to spice it up. Well I actually asked a friend to help me out because I was stuck picking a good name. So now it's Ultradialectics. And Dialectics is a form of reasoning based on the exchange of arguments and counter-arguments.
Like I said I started designing about 10 years ago. I basically picked up Photoshop because for me that was the program to get my creativity out and when I started to create with Photoshop i was sold. In the beginning I sucked ofcourse, and my work was alot of playing around but through repeating I learned fast.
After that I developed my own style and way of working. I have the feeling that I am still learing everyday, but I also feel that I am getting better everyday because my work is getting more and more appreciated each day. And that gives me the motivation the create even more.
hey man how you doing these days? working on anything Big and exciting?
